Bonie Facio of Dot-be put together this casual t-shirt and blazer that pairs well with jeans.  The table and chairs are from Rowan Attis of Piddler’s Perch.

The purse is one of two options from Uklea of Lavanda Chic.  Love them. They are very cute but then that is exactly what we expect from Uklea who creates lots of must haves.

I tried to save money once by buying plain purses and drawing on my own pics but there is a reason why my pictures were always put way up higher than any grade one student or doting grandparent could ever see on those “share your kindergarten with your grandparent” day.

Merry Christmas, this is the time to rejoice and share the bounty of life, however small it seems to us, with all our loved ones, close by and far away.

Today I feel merry and mischievious, so I am giving you the best impersonation of a Christmas elf….

I created 2 mix and match outfits in a very xmasy environment, all the items are from the fantastic POE6 gifts, have fun and, if you like, thank the designers who put a lot of thinking and attention into these amazing presents.

Leri Miles of Leri Miles Designs has created this very special earth inspired gown for POE6.  The green in the belt matched perfectly with Soraya Vaher’s of Violators holly inspired Jewellery set.

Rowan Attis of Piddler’s Perch joins POE once again and does not disappoint with his rustic table and chair set that will remind you of grandma’s house and all the goodies she would have waiting at Christmas time. . . .unless she was my grandmother in which case you remember the table because it provided a safe place to hide under when she would bring out the plates of her baking wonders … like “liver marshmallow surprise.”

Fanny Panacek of Domus shares her Joy to the World with this cute little hand stitched Christmas tree and SocElfky wanted me to point out that he is in his Christmas Jammies and that he thinks he could be a fashionista too.  I smiled and nodded a lot because frankly … Sock Monkey’s scare the hell out of me.

Which groups do they join, which groups do they leave

Who has their gifts ready and who can endure the lag

Yet with amazing wonderment we all enjoy this zigzag.

A collection of 200-plus brave ones memorize their que

And each one so proud to be among this holiday zoo

I for one, can tell you Old St. Nick has nothing

Like we all sure do!

POE5 – Piddler’s Perch

After your gifts have been ripped opened, the kids have trashed the house, The Peace on Earth Grid Wide Hunt still have gifts yet to be unwrapped! Unlike looking under the tree for your gifts, you must get up, drop your 6th piece of pie, and get to hunting for these awesome gifts! The Hunt runs until the 6th of January…still plenty of time to find these goodies!!!

Once again the fantastic designers at Piddler’s Perch has seen to our decor needs! They have created this gorgeous set! POE5 – Je Suis, caLLie cLine, Schwarz, Piddler’s Perch

Never underestimate the opportunities to perform at Christmas time.

Once you pack 300 people into your Grandmother’s trailer, the chances of them escaping is slim to none. It is a great time to crack out your favourite karaoke songs. Just make sure you get a good grip on the mic and never underestimate the elderly when they see a chance to sing. I like to bring along some duct tape just to keep grandma from singing along with me. She thinks everything anyone sings is “Bringing In the Sheaves.”
You can also show people your ability to stand on your head and still drink beer. It gives you a great excuse to be drinking earlier than allowed.

And finally, Magicians who can make small children high on sugar and light on sleep disappear is always a big holiday season party favourite.
