The last day of the Peace On Earth Hunt and a lovely Room

T’was the month following Christmas, my true love said to me, undeck the halls, and put away the tree! The Peace On Earth Hunt has been amazing!!! Where has the time gone!!! Today is the last day of the hunt and there were over 200 gifts this year…such generosity! While I was out today, hunters were too, some asking if the gifts were still out where I was and of course they were! I wanted to do a final room with some of the POE6 furnishings to show how lovely they looked together. You do not have to limit yourself to having them out only at Christmas time! I was trying to tell a hunter this, and decided the best way was just to show! The POE designers are among the best in Second Life and made high quality gifts for us all to enjoy and most importantly, to use!

Look how well the room flows together..it has such an lovely warm eclectic look!  If you have no money in Second Life for things, to make you feel at home, just look at the designs within this room. There is still some time left before the end of the day to locate these awesome gifts!

I wish to thank you, Sequoia, for caring enough to have this phenomenal annual hunt each year! You work so hard to bring this to the residents of Second Life and make it look effortlessly! You have no idea how many people you actually help, with the Peace On Earth Hunt! Some people come to Second Life who do not have much in real life, and because of you and the fabulous designers, who give generously of their creations and time, allow people to have dignity and a amazing sense of style, with the beautiful clothes, accessories, furniture, homes, home decor, and so many things that have been part of the Peace On Earth Hunts throughout the years that you and they so unselfishly give! From the bottom of my heart I thank you!

Merry Christmas, this is the time to rejoice and share the bounty of life, however small it seems to us, with all our loved ones, close by and far away.

Today I feel merry and mischievious, so I am giving you the best impersonation of a Christmas elf….

I created 2 mix and match outfits in a very xmasy environment, all the items are from the fantastic POE6 gifts, have fun and, if you like, thank the designers who put a lot of thinking and attention into these amazing presents.

The Schmelf and I got grounded to my bedroom today.  I don’t really wanna talk about it except to say for someone who is supposed to be recording those who are naughty or nice he has a penchant for the naughty and I think the pressure they can inflict on the unsuspecting goes way beyond peer power and borders on subhuman super duper magical mystical power.

Just sayin ….

Kira Paderborn of Styles by Kira offers POE 2 skin tones with 2 options.  Stylish as always!!  ShuShu Congerjo of ShuShu came up with this entire outfit, complete as you see it here with lots of options so that it should work on almost any avatar except maybe a dragon . . . I am not guaranteeing dragons.

Alexandra Lara of Potpourri Designs offers 3 pictures with animated snow.  Dina Bade of Dina’s Creations came up with this cute little tree which I kind of ended up sticking up the Shmelf’s butt after a whole afternoon in the bedroom together and because well frankly, I have anger management issues.

AelkennyR Rhiano of An Lema came up with a whole room of furniture that has so many options and poses that you can play for hours.  You can change textures and turn things on and off and even make and unmake the bed.  If she had an iron to flatten out a small lump under the covers it would have been perfect.

Time to run around the entire grid and have fun with the amazing gifts prepared by so many talented designers! It is a great pleasure for me this year to show you as many items as possible, so that you can have an orientation while you seek the sweet globes of peace.

Today I start with the founder and owner of POE: SEQUOIA NIGHTFIRE, her winter screen and rug are the perfect backdrop for this first post, where I model the dress Peace Bird by SONATTA MORALES, a great knee length dress in black crushed velvet, with matching feather hat. The outfit is completed by Lindy Vintage black pumps, the jewels are from STARS Christmas Peace set necklace and earrings.

The skin is DIAMOND STYLE skin Renzy, make up included, BDBA Peace on Earth blush, the eyes are STERLING ARTISTRY Serenity eyes Crystal and mesh eys

POE5 – An Lema

An Lema has created the amazing Swanhaven Day Bed and matching table. The sofa has a menu drive animation hud inside and a nice menu selection of cuddling functions. I love the color combination of the Blue and Gold. It is beautifully crafted and have fun finding it on the hunt!

Time to sharpen up those sleuthing sklls! Amazng gifts to be had by all…have fun!
