Hiya again… hope the new year as been kind to you this far. I thought I would make a last POE5 instalment while the hunt is still on. To be perfectly honest I could probably spend weeks combining, recombining and modding for further recombination with the enormous pile of clothes. I might just do that but this is not the time for that, so I’ll just quickly introduce you to a couple of more peeps I found among the folders.
Again, I’ll give the stores but direct you to the official hunt hint list for SLURLS.
Earring: Part of #182 Dressed by LexiJacket and Pants: Part of the male gift at #156 *INNUENDO* Italian Style.Sweater ‘dress’ with belt: Part of the fem gift at #156 *INNUENDO* Italian Style.Shoes: Part of the male gift at #24 Felicia’s Fashion.Pose (lolly included): From #126 Exposeur. Lolly is included.
A couple of close ups so you can see a bit more detail. There’s style and some nice craftsmanship here, indeed!
I agree with Dr Who that bow ties are cool…
Bow tie: Belonging to gift at #75 Miss Darcy.
Jacket: #134 Eshi Otawara. An absolute in the Awesome! category!
Pants: Part of #129 New York Couture. Slightly darkened… oh, how I love mod perms!
Bangles: Part of #87 Baboom.Ring: #153 Designs by Sebastian. Can’t really see it but you would if it wasn’t there ^^
Ear studs: Part of #147 Stars! Not worried to showing them in this post. They are the red ruby version of the ones I wore in my last post. An extra bonus with these studs are that they’re copy/mod… meaning they can be used as a template for other colours if you can make or find the textures. They’re no trans, of course, so that’s for personal pleasures only. Most definitely an Awesome! Thank you!
Pose: Part of the gift at #44 The Muse Poses.Looking back and completing my statistics of the CLOTHES gifts, I found that 93% of the participating stores had fem gifts while 29% had stuff for guys. There was only a couple of participating stores with exclusive male stuff, compared with 71% with fem. Almost all of the male stuff consequently comes from stores providing for both genders. If I stretch myself to include gifts that include details I can recycle in one way or another, the corresponding number for andro would be 49% of participating stores… no exclusive ones, though. These statistics have to taken with a pinch of salt, however. I’ve been shuffling folders back and forth for days now, plus I know my collection isn’t complete, so there’s a steady growing margin of error. The statistics seem a bit on the gloomy side for guys. The quality of some of the male gifts would still make me recommend this hunt to men, however. I can only talk about the clothes part, but the quality of some of the gifts and taking the price into consideration, i.e. some of your time and none of your lindens, still makes the hunt worth the effort.I don’t think there’s any discrimination against men here. SL shopping is dominated by women and these results probably just reflect the relative ratios in the industry. Maybe a special ‘guy list’ with hints to the stores with ‘guy’ or ‘unisex’ gifts could be in order, however, as not scare the boys away by having them hunt for evening gowns – THAT is a narrow market for men, indeed.I think I must take the time to make a very last post on this hunt, this is such fun. Again, a huge THANK YOU to everyone that made this hunt possible!!!The sim where I took the photos for this and the last post is the art sim Song Bird.Until next time, take care and have fun! *Dives back into the folders*
